The Strabon Tulum Hotel

Great breakfast cafe and clean rooms, but tiny bugs showed up at the end.

They gave me good-sized room with an artsy touch and a massive bed, as example.

This place suits me perfectly! With free Wi-Fi, an outdoor pool, and friendly staff who helped with my bags, it's just what I need. I'm coming back for Christmas!

We had 2 great days here, recommend the place. The hotel was simple, clean, in an extremely nice area. All in all room was reasonably large; also provided a bathtub. The breakfast was good with lots of dishes.

The hotel sits far from the beach, with bumpy roads making transit difficult. Minor plumbing issues came up, and I noticed some small bugs toward the end of my stay-definitely something to keep in mind.

I had a lovely stay and really enjoyed my balcony surrounded by greenery. The outdoor pool was such a nice retreat, and I spent many afternoons lounging by the sun terrace with a drink. Just a heads up, the roads leading to the hotel can be a bit bumpy, but it doesn't take away from the overall chill vibe 🌴

The charming decor throughout Strabon reminded me of a tropical dream, with vibrant colors and lush greenery that welcomed me in. The outdoor pool was easily accessible and perfect.

Better water pressure in the shower would be nice.

It was just a well-suited match for a weekend breather in Tulum with good value considering the price it charged. The cute towel animals made by the maid were a nice touch and added some charm to our stay. Make sure to have a car for easier access to the beach and town.

Our rooms were super clean, and we loved the little breakfast cafe. The cenotes, especially Cenote Crystal and Cenote Calavera, were must-do activities. Just be ready for a bumpy ride to the beach if you don't have a car.

We noticed tiny bugs in our room toward the end of our stay, a bit annoying. They found their way in through a crack in the door.

I loved being just about 1.5 km away from beautiful Dos Aguas Park, perfect for a peaceful stroll, and the friendly atmosphere. The rooms were cozy, and I appreciated the helpful staff during my time there.

Consider renting bikes for easier access to town and the beach. It's more fun than walking on the bumpy roads.

cozy but minor flaws

The room felt cozy, with a lovely balcony that added a nice touch to my stay. The staff provided excellent service, always ready to assist with a smile. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, especially the beautiful garden view which was a pleasure to wake up to.

The only downside was the slight inconvenience of low water pressure in the shower.

Enjoying fresh black coffee and green juices each morning at the breakfast café was good. The lack of ice machines was inconvenient, and the bikes available were missing baskets were great. Still, the warmth of the place and the value for money were excellent.
